On June 24, Wu Jin, Secretary of the Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation consisting of Du Yongbing, Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Wang Lianxia, Executive Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; Wang Fei, Director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau; and Dou Xunwen, Deputy Director of the General Office of the Municipal Party Committee, to conduct an inspection survey at Shengyuan Biotechnology. Zhu Yuxuan, Chairman of Shengyuan Environmental Protection, and relevant business executives received the delegation.
Chairman Zhu Yuxuan introduced the company’s overall development strategy and layout of its taurine business. He stated that while the company’s core waste incineration business maintains steady growth, it is actively fostering the taurine big health industry. The enterprise has invested 1.166 billion yuan to build a world-leading industrial park for taurine raw materials and supporting facilities, and a variety of "Taurine Plus" products have already been launched onto the market. Director Zhang Tao reported on the progress of the Anhui Shengyuan Heating Project. With an investment of approximately 130 million yuan, the project involves the construction of heating pipelines and supporting facilities. It utilizes residual heat from waste incineration to supply stable thermal energy to the Food Town in Tianchang and surrounding areas, cutting enterprises’ heating costs and delivering a win-win outcome of economic and environmental benefits.
Secretary Wu Jin commended Shengyuan Environmental Protection on its achievements in waste incineration power generation, heating and steam supply as well as the big health industry in Tianchang, Chuzhou. He stated that the municipal government would fully support the expansion of relevant projects and the advancement of heating supply projects, so as to provide solid energy guarantees for the construction of the Food Town. He also extended a sincere welcome for the settlement of Shengyuan’s taurine big health business, with a view to jointly boosting the green and high-quality development of local economy.
