On the afternoon of June 24, Ren Hongbin, Chairman and Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), toured the Healthy Living Chain Exhibition Area at the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and visited the booth of Shengyuan Biotechnology. He gained detailed insights into the enterprise’s progress in building a full taurine industrial chain and its innovative achievements in end products. He fully recognized Shengyuan Biotechnology’s practices of taking root in the taurine big health track and advancing coordinated industrial chain development. Lin Yanxing, Administrative Director of the General Office of Shengyuan Environmental Protection, accompanied him and delivered a special briefing.
Chairman Ren Hongbin carefully inspected the complete display covering taurine raw materials to end products presented by Shengyuan Biotechnology, and focused on learning about its 40,000-ton annual taurine raw material production project. Located in Quangang, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, the project adopts advanced ethylene oxide process and realizes "on-site adjacent supply" of raw materials, delivering outstanding cost advantages and reliable safety guarantees.
Chairman Ren Hongbin pointed out that market demand for taurine is surging rapidly in sectors including functional beverages, pet food, infant food and aquatic feed, boasting broad prospects for industrial development. He encouraged Shengyuan Biotechnology to leverage international platforms such as the China International Supply Chain Expo to actively connect with upstream and downstream partners at home and overseas, translate its production capacity advantages into market competitiveness. Meanwhile, the company should expand global markets via the Belt and Road Initiative economic and trade corridors to achieve two-way empowerment through strengthening domestic industrial chains and facilitating interconnected global supply chains.
Director Lin Yanxing stated that taking this CISCE as an opportunity, Shengyuan Biotechnology will continuously consolidate its full industrial chain capabilities ranging from raw materials to end products, accelerate the commissioning of its Quangang base, proactively engage target clients, and contribute more to the high-quality development of the big health industry.
