In May, flame trees burst into full bloom all over Quanzhou. Their blazing red blossoms look like rows of small lanterns, brightening the youthful vibe of this thousand-year-old ancient port city. On the morning of May 24, the 5th Quanzhou Youth Poetry Gathering & Literary Salon, co-organized by Xiamen Shengyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., was held on the open-air balcony of Yinxiang Citong Teahouse in Quanzhou North Riverside Park. Guided by the Communist Youth League Quanzhou Municipal Committee and Quanzhou Youth Federation, the event was hosted by Quanzhou Youth Writers Association, the Editorial Department of Quanzhou Youth News, and the Youth Creation Committee of Quanzhou Writers Association. Nearly a hundred young writers, poets and literature enthusiasts gathered at the venue. They bonded over poetry, exchanged literary insights, and engaged in a timeless literary dialogue.
