On May 26, Shengyuan Pharmaceutical presented its core scientific functional nutrition brands including Vitality Tree® Taurine Energy Drink and Shengyuan Tree® American Ginseng Taurine Oral Liquid at the 2025 Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. The company engaged in in-depth discussions with KOLs, experts and practitioners from the medical and healthcare industries worldwide regarding future industry development trends and cooperation opportunities.
The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair is the most influential medical and healthcare industry event in the Asia-Pacific region. It brings together government officials, research experts, corporate leaders and investment institutions from the global medical and health sectors to discuss innovative trends in healthcare and opportunities for international cooperation. Hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, this exhibition saw the Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau take the lead in organizing prominent local enterprises to set up booths in the Xiamen Pavilion. The pavilion showcased innovative achievements of Xiamen’s biomedicine and health industries. Together with other Xiamen enterprises, Shengyuan Pharmaceutical exhibited its full range of big health products in the Xiamen Pavilion, presenting the vigorous vitality of Xiamen’s medical and healthcare industry to global buyers.
During the exhibition, Professor Lo Chung-mau, Secretary for Health of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, visited the Xiamen Pavilion for inspection and guidance. Cao Weimin, Deputy Director of Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau, dropped by Shengyuan Pharmaceutical’s booth to gain in-depth insights into the core ingredients, technological innovations and market prospects of its various products. He also sampled the drinks on site and spoke highly of the company’s proactive exploration in the big health industry.

John KC Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered an address at the summit. He stated that the national 14th Five-Year Plan clearly supports Hong Kong in developing into an international innovation and technology hub, with priority given to emerging disciplines such as life and health sciences. Leveraging the deepening connectivity within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong will partner with R&D and innovation institutions, enterprises and industry professionals to build a more resilient and sustainable global health system.
