On the morning of May 24, the launching ceremony of the 2025 Xiamen Science and Technology Week was held at Wuyi Cultural Square, officially kicking off this year’s event. Co-sponsored by Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau, Publicity Department of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, Xiamen Association for Science and Technology and Siming District People’s Government, the activity is undertaken by Siming District Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology, Xiamen Science and Technology Exchange Center Co., Ltd. and Siming District Association for Science and Technology.
As one of the invited exhibitors, Shengyuan Pharmaceutical showcased multiple scientific functional nutrition brands including Vitality Tree® Taurine Energy Drink and Shengyuan Tree® American Ginseng Taurine Oral Liquid at the exhibition area. Staff members popularized health science knowledge to local citizens and introduced the features and highlights of health products with taurine as the core ingredient. Many visitors stopped by to sample the drinks, ask questions and make purchases, creating a lively atmosphere on site.

At the event site, Kong Shuguang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau, and his entourage visited the booth of Shengyuan Pharmaceutical for inspection and guidance. After learning in detail about the core ingredients, R&D background and scientific and technological innovations of a variety of products and sampling the drinks on site, Director Kong fully recognized Shengyuan Pharmaceutical’s proactive layout in the big health industry. He pointed out that with the in-depth advancement of the Healthy China Strategy, the big health industry boasts huge development potential.
