On the morning of March 5, the 4th General Meeting of the First Council of Xiamen Elderly Service Promotion Association was held at Xiamen Information Future Hotel. Yan Qingchun, Honorary President of the Association and President of China Elderly Health Care Association, Li Long, President of the Association, Bai Jinkun, Director of the Elderly Care Service Division of Xiamen Civil Affairs Bureau, Li Shenmeng, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Chen Yahua, Vice President, Zou Ruiqing, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association, together with nearly 200 representatives of member entities, senior consultants and industry experts attended the meeting to jointly discuss the development plan of elderly care services in Xiamen. The meeting centered on topics including recruitment of new members, annual commendation and innovation in the health industry. As a member entity, Shengyuan Pharmaceutical, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shengyuan Environmental Protection, participated in the event. He encouraged member enterprises to leverage favorable policies through the association’s role as a bridge, actively participate in Xiamen’s elderly care services, and meet the multi-level and diversified health needs of the elderly amid the silver economy era with innovative products and service models.

During the lecture session of the second agenda of the conference, Yan Qingchun, Honorary President of the Association and President of the China Elderly Health Care Association, delivered a keynote speech titled *Adapt to the Needs of Population Aging and Accelerate the Development of the Silver Economy*. He mainly elaborated on the current situation, tasks, social environment and policy guarantees facing China's silver economy. He encouraged enterprises to seize opportunities and pursue active innovation, so as to provide more thoughtful and considerate products and services for the elderly, and jointly boost the sound development of the silver economy.
